Summary of Content
A dancer, cocooned in a length red fabric, hangs from the ceiling of an abandoned industrial warehouse.
A violinist plays at the dancer in such a way that the knots of the fabric gradually begin to loosen, she begins to slip and spin and it looks as if she might crash into the flooded floor of the warehouse.
A young woman rows, like possessed, through Berlin. In the early dawn she passes the Oberbaum bridge, rows past Watergate and other Berlin landmarks to finally turn into the warehouse and slip underneath the dancer at the very moment of her fall.
This is the narrative frame and also the binding structure for three interlinked episodes that, without any dialogue, tell the stories of three people who have the courage to break out of deadlocked life situations:
A grown-up son finds the ability to love through the reconciliation with his father.
A horsewoman listens to her heart and finds her horse again.
Throught her courage to break free from her hellish marriage, a woman finds a hitherto uncharted and fulfilled life.
And two people find each other.
